Liangchao Xu 许梁超

I am a final-year undergraduate at Nanjing University, starting my Ph.D. at NJU's IST in September 2026.

My advisor is Prof. Yao Yao at the 3D Vision Lab, and I also work closely with Prof. Yuan Liu at HKUST.

Currently, I am a research intern at DreamTech in Shenzhen, after spending Fall 2025 as a visiting student with Prof. Yuxiong Wang at UIUC.

My research focuses on 3D reconstruction and 3D generation.

By introducing GauUpdate, we enable fast and consistent insertion of new objects into existing 3D Gaussian fields by relighting them with inverse rendering for appearance alignment across varying lighting conditions.
